Once per month, the detector conducts a silent sound check to test the alarm and speaker.

Nest® Secure Home Alarm System

The Nest® Secure Home Alarm System was included in TIME Magazine’s annual ranked list of the ‘Best Inventions of the Year’ for 2017. The system allows doors to be opened with a key fob rather than a physical key or passcode. The system can also be programmed to allow access according to a set schedule – for instance, on Mondays between 2 and 4 to allow access for a dog walker. If an unauthorized entry attempt is made, you’ll receive an alarm on your mobile device so you can evaluate the situation. Your insurance company may even provide a discount on your home insurance premium for having a home security system installed, making the system even more affordable.
